Affiliate Marketing

As an affiliate you are basically asking another website to ad a link to your website from theirs which will get your website more traffic and and make sales for them and commissions for you.

First, write up a review about the product or service you are promoting and add this as content to your website.

Also, you can write articles about the product or service and add it to your website and submit them to e-zines.

You can get lots of article content from the websites of the products or services you are promoting.

Another important point to remember is that you will need a list to market your products. On your website, you can set up an opt-in list connected to a series of auto-responder messages. You can use forms to collect names and e-mail addresses from those who opt-in. You'll want to offer some freebie to opt-in, such as a free report, ezine subscription, or a free ebook.

Managing your list involves truth. Always be truthful. Make sure the people signing up to your list know exactly what they're getting. Never tell customers they are getting something and not give it to them or send things they did not request.

When you are an affiliate:

1. Use unique web pages to promote each product. Don't put all your products together just to save on hosting.

Always include product reviews on your website so visitors can understand the product and how it can help them.

2.Offer free reports to your visitors. Try to position them at the top of the page so they can be seen. Try to create auto responder messages that will be sent to those who submit their name and email address.

Research has shown that sometimes it takes up to seven contacts before a person buys.

3.Get traffic that is targeted to your products by submitting keyword-rich articles to ezines.
